Step 1 - First, we need to gather some information. On your work PC, right click the start button, then click on system.

Step 2 - Scroll and click on "About" on the left, then look for "Device Name" - Either, take a picture of that or write it down exactly as-is.

Step 3 - Next, on the left, above "About", Click on "Remote Desktop" - Then, flip the switch to enable remote desktop (If not already enabled) and click confirm - Then, click the top "Show Settings"

Step 4 - Find the sections for "Sleep" and change the second drop down for "When plugged in" to "Never"

Step 5 - On your PC at home, right click the start button, and click run

Step 6 - Type in "mstsc" and press enter

Step 7 - Click on "Show Options"

Step 8 - Then retrieve the "Device Name" you obtained in step 3 and type in this box - Type your email address in the User name box

Step 9 - Next, click on the display tab, and drag the slider all the way to the right and let go.

Step 10 - Next, Click on the advanced tab, make sure the first drop down is set to "Connect and don't warn me" and then click on the "Settings" button under "Connect from anywhere"

Step 11 - Click the option button for "Use these RD Gateway Server Settings" - Verify both check boxes for "Bypass RD Gateway server for local addresses" as well as "Use my RD Gateway credentials for the remote computer" and click "Ok"

Step 12 - Now, click back to the general tab, then click "Save As" and save it to your desktop named something familiar like "Company Remote"

Step 15 - Close this window, head to your desktop, and double click on the remote shortcut

Step 16 - Sign in with your full company email address and password
